Who we are and our simple rules
We are just a couple of tech enthusiasts writing guides in our free time. But as this blog gets more visitors, we have to lay down some basic rules. Staying here and reading our walkthroughs means you agree to these items.
Disagree? No problem just close the tab. We want to keep this space clean and honest.
Sharing our guides
We spend days researchin, writin, and checkin these steps. Everything we post is completely free to read. You are welcome to print out walkthroughs, send links to a friend, or text them to relatives. That is exactly why we build this blog!
But do not copy-paste our full articles on your site. Do not sell our walkthroughs or use our text to train commercial AI writing bots. Copying hurts our rankings and steals our hard work. Sharing is cool, but link to our post instead.
No promises
Software updates move buttons around overnight. Android settings look different on a Samsung versus a OnePlus. We check settings on physical devices, but we cannot promise it works perfectly on every screen.
Our guides are for information. We are not responsible for broken settings, lost chats, or device crashes. Back up your files before changing deep settings.
Official links and third-party apps
We put direct links to official apps, app stores, and developer sites to save you time. We don't own these external tools. We don't control their security or rules. We are not responsible for their safety.
Always look at their terms before downloading or buying software. Skip sketchy downloads.
No bots or scripts
We want this blog to load super fast. No spam floods, scraper bots, or code breaks allowed. Read the posts normally.
If our filters spot scrapers or bot activity from your IP address, we will block you to protect other readers.
Mumbai Jurisdiction
We run this tech blog from BKC, Mumbai, India. Any disagreements regarding our guides will be handled in local Mumbai courts. By reading this site, you agree to Mumbai court handling.
How we update these rules
Rules change as the site grows. Sometimes we update these terms. When we do, we change the check date at the top.
Reading past this update means you are good with the new rules. Feel free to bookmark this page to verify rules later.
Paying the bills
Running a blog costs money. We show regular ads and put in some affiliate links. Making a purchase through our links sends a tiny commission our way at absolutely no extra cost to you.
It costs you zero extra rupees. But this pays for servers and devices. We only suggest tools we tested and liked. We never suggest bad software for cash.
Spotted a typo?
Mistakes happen. Spotted a typo, dead link, or want a walkthrough for a new app? Send us a message. We read every email.
Accidentally posted your image without proper credit? Drop us an email. We will delete the image or add your link right away.
A note about younger readers
This blog is for teenagers and adults. Kids under 13 need a parent or guardian looking over their shoulder before browsing our guides or typing into the contact form.
Our actual testing steps
We don't copy-paste support articles from the web. We have a drawer full of old Android and iOS phones in our BKC office in Mumbai.
Before writing a single paragraph, we reset the device, install the latest version of the app, and physically click every button. We write the steps as we do them. If an app behaves differently, we note it down. This is why our guides look different from typical technical support documents.
Why we have zero paywalls
We believe tech help should be free. Some blogs block their best tutorials behind paywalls or require email signups just to read a few steps. We hate that.
You will never see a membership box or a premium lock on Ethnickoti. Everything is open to the public from day one. We support ourselves through clean ads and standard commissions.
How we pick apps to review
We only write about tools we actually use. If we write a list of the best chat backup software, we download all of them, use them for a week, and see which ones are worth your time.
We don't write reviews for software we haven't touched. If a brand offers us money to write a good review, we say no. Our reputation with our readers is worth more than a quick payout.
System safety limits
Security matters to us. We secure your connection with regular HTTPS. We never demand passwords, bank logins, or card details.
Seeing any popup asking for private numbers or payment cards on our blog? Shut it down immediately it is a scam. We only need a name and email inside our email box to answer your questions.
