A few simple ground rules
We love writing quick phone tips, settings walkthroughs, and app guides on Ethnickoti. But tech updates alter buttons overnight. We need to set some basic guidelines before you read our articles.
Reading our blog means you agree that you understand and accept these simple points. If you don't feel good about them, just close the tab and check another site. We like keeping our rules clean, short, and honest.
We test, but we can't promise
We hold physical devices in our BKC office in Mumbai to test every single step. But we never promise perfect results on your specific screen. Software versions, carrier configurations, or app patches alter settings layouts. Everything we write is purely for reading. We are not responsible for phone bugs.
If a menu looks totally different or doesn't match our pictures, stop clicking and read the official help files instead.
Not certified professional advice
We are tech bloggers and enthusiastic writers, not certified Microsoft engineers or Apple experts. The steps we post are simply what worked for us during our hands-on testing. Our guides are not professional tech support.
Consult official support centers before formatting hardware or deleting system files. Running a critical business network? Pay a local tech expert to handle your setups. Online blogs cannot replace dedicated professional IT consultants. Stay safe.
Paying our server bills
To keep all our articles free without premium locks, we run standard ads and use affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and purchase a product we recommend, the store sends us a tiny commission.
This costs you zero extra rupees, but it helps us pay monthly hosting bills and buy testing devices. We only link to tools we actually liked and tested. We never suggest bad software just to make a quick commission. Reader trust is everything to us.
Amazon Associates Program Disclosure
Ethnickoti is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This program lets websites earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.in, Amazon.com, and affiliated sites.
If we recommend a physical testing device like a phone case or a USB cable and you buy it, we get a small cut of the sale.
External links we don't control
We put links to official developer sites or third-party tools to save you time. We don't own these external websites. We aren't in charge of their security or policies.
Double-check downloads on other sites before installing. Read their rules. Seeing weird popups or alerts? Close the browser window right away. Ignore files requesting your mobile number or prepayment details.
Brand names and trademarks
We write guides about programs like WhatsApp, Google, Apple, Windows, or Android. Those famous titles belong 100% to their corporate brands. We use their names simply to describe how their settings work.
We have zero sponsorship from these brands. No company pays our team. We are just an independent crew of writers who love sharing phone tips.
System modifications and warranty warnings
A few tutorials cover advanced tweaks or settings. Changing system settings can ruin your warranty or make the device unstable. Tweaking system files is purely your choice.
Always copy your files somewhere safe before tweaking settings. We have no liability for broken devices, ruined hard disks, or lost phone media. Be extremely careful with registry edits or root actions.
Spotted a mistake?
We verify every step, but apps update constantly and mistakes happen. Spotted a typo, broken link, or outdated menu step? Write to us. We love suggestions for new guides too.
We check our emails daily and update our guides as soon as apps change their buttons.
A note about older articles
Check the date tag at the very top of our articles. Walkthroughs written months ago might have outdated pictures because menus change. We freshen up old posts whenever we can.
But we do not promise old articles are completely accurate today. Look at the date tag before clicking old menu options. Let us know if a post needs an emergency update.
Site availability
We work hard to keep this site online all day and night. But servers act up sometimes, or we shut things down for a few minutes to run updates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
If the blog goes offline for a little bit, don't worry our host team usually fixes it in a few minutes. We keep our backups fresh.
No warranties on external software
We do not sell apps. We just write tips. Got a glitchy download that fails to open or bills your card out of nowhere? Send a message to that specific app creator.
We have zero connection to those developers and do not control their pricing plans.

Our comment sections
We let readers leave comments under our guides to share tech tips. We don't endorse or verify commenter opinions. If someone suggests downloading a file or changing a setting, verify it yourself first.
We want to keep comments friendly, but we aren't responsible for user opinions. We regularly review comments to block spam links or suspicious looking downloads.
