Why we show this disclosure
Let's get the money stuff out of the way first. Running Ethnickoti isn't free. We pay for servers, domains, tool licenses, and test gear out of pocket. To avoid putting up a paywall or charging for our guides, we use affiliate links.
If you click one and buy something, the seller pays us a tiny cut. It costs you nothing extra, but it keeps our lights on.
FTC compliance and reader safety
Lawyers say we have to put this up, but we'd tell you anyway: assume every link to a product or app here might earn us a commission if you buy it.
We're completely open about this. No hidden sponsors, no sneaky deals behind your back.
Amazon Associates program details
We are in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. It's a standard setup. We put Amazon links in our posts, and if you buy a phone case, memory card, or router through them, Amazon kicks back a small percentage of the sale.
Prices don't change for you at all. We mostly link to Amazon because almost everyone has an account there already.
Other partner networks we use
We also work with networks like Impact, ShareASale, CJ, and ClickBank. If we suggest a hosting provider or a utility app, they track that referral using their networks.
The price you pay is identical to their normal rate. Sometimes, we even get exclusive discount codes that make it cheaper for you than buying directly.
Our pricing and discount guarantee
We promise this: using our links will never cost you a single rupee more. You pay the exact same price.
In fact, companies sometimes give us special promo codes for our readers, so you actually end up paying less. We'll always call these discounts out clearly.
Unbiased reviews and editorial independence
A referral fee isn't worth losing our name over. If an app crashes constantly, a charger gets too hot, or a device is just plain garbage, we will say so. We test this stuff physically at our BKC office in Mumbai.
We don't take cash for positive reviews. If a tool sucks, we tell you to skip it. Period.
Sponsored articles vs. affiliate links
Affiliate links only make us money if you actually buy something. Sponsored posts are different—a company pays us a flat rate upfront to write about them.
We rarely do sponsored posts because we want to stay independent. If we do write one, we'll slap a big 'Ad' or 'Sponsored' tag right at the top so you can't miss it.
Your freedom of choice
We love it when you support us by using our links. It keeps the site running. But you don't have to.
If you want to skip them, just search for the product directly on Google or Amazon in a clean tab. We don't mind either way—we're just glad you're here reading our stuff.
Questions and transparency
We like keeping things honest. If a link feels weird, or if you want to know more about how we test things or make money, shoot us an email.
We'd rather talk to you directly than have you guessing. You can reach out to our team at any time.
