How We Write, Test, and Verify Our Guides
Here is the plain truth about how we put our guides together, double-check every step, and clean up outdated posts so you don’t end up clicking buttons that don't exist anymore.

Our Core Goal
Look, we built this site to solve a simple problem: finding tech advice that actually works. We get super annoyed when we search for a quick fix and get huge blocks of copied text. Our mission is to write guides that are easy to read and actually work. We test every step so you don’t have to waste your time guessing.
We keep our writing independent. No company can pay us to recommend their apps, and standard advertisers have zero influence over what we publish. If we recommend software, it’s because we tried it ourselves and liked it.
Testing & Checking Facts
We don’t just write based on press releases. If we post a walkthrough for a mobile app or a desktop setting, it’s because we grabbed a physical phone or computer, replicated the issue, and clicked through every single step ourselves. All steps are checked against live devices before we hit publish.
Notice a mistake? Let us know. We jump on errors fast and edit the article immediately so nobody else gets confused.
Keeping Things Fresh
Because tech updates break things, we constantly reopen older posts to test them again.
If we rewrite a guide to match a new software update, we change the date tag at the top. That way, you see exactly how fresh the advice is.
Keeping it Real
We do not take sponsor cash to lie. Period. If we write about a tool, we share the good, the bad, and the ugly.
If an app is laggy, annoying to set up, or just outright terrible, we will tell you exactly that.
How We Pay the Bills
Running a site takes work, so we display standard Google AdSense ads and use normal affiliate links. If you buy something through a link on our site, we might get a tiny commission at no extra cost to you.
This setup doesn’t influence what we recommend. We only link to tools we actually think are helpful to you. If a product is bad, we won’t link to it just for a quick commission.
Written by Real Humans
Every guide on this site is written by a real human tech writer. We don’t publish articles spat out by artificial intelligence generators.
We might use AI to check spelling or sort out initial research outlines, but all final articles are written and checked by a human being. We don’t write fake reviews or generate false steps with AI.
Cleaning Up Errors
We aren't perfect. We make mistakes. Typos get fixed without any fuss. But if we mess up a terminal command or a setting, we fix it and put a warning note at the bottom so you know what changed.
